How do I create local CloudLinux repository mirror?

CloudLinux mirror requires a bit more than a typical repository mirror setup. We setup CLN proxy software to accomodate for authentication done by  yum-rhn-plugin plugin. To qualify as a CLN mirror, you need to have more than 50 servers in your datancenters.

If you do, to host a mirror, please setup:

  • VM with 1GB of RAM and 200GB of disk space running CentOS 7;
  • domain name pointed to that mirror, like cl-mirror.yourdomain.com.

Then create a support ticket at https://helpdesk.cloudlinux.com/ and send us:

  • your CLN login name;
  • access to VM;
  • domain name pointed to that VM.

We will setup a software that would act like a caching proxy allowing licensing to work. When done, your mirror will be add to http://repo.cloudlinux.com/cloudlinux/mirrorlists/cln-mirrors.
